ETA: Nevermind. Saw this was a response to a shitty thread started by one of the State fans.

Keep bringing up that 1954 CWS title like it wasn't over 60 years old.

Kilo wasn’t born yet when Missouri had its CWS championship parade down the neighborhood cul-de-sac

And were his name not on the stadium, he probably wouldn't even know who the coach was that won the NC.

What was the name of the coach that led Miss State to its CWS title?

Or the name of any coach in any sport that has won a national title at Mississippi State

I think we (uga) won a baseball natty in 1990 and were runners up in 08, yet you never see us bragging about it on the rant. Meanwhile, mizzou is gloating about a 1954 title and their last cws appearance was in 1964. Seems legit

imagine the pinnacle of your athletic program being an imaginary title you haven’t actually won yet in women’s basketball

I’m just glad you didn’t go with last year saying beating UConn was the real championship or some dumb shite like that

Yeah - borders on the lunacy of someone citing something that happened 65 years ago as relevant.
