They've been filming for weeks, a friend of mine is an extra. She got cast as a mom though and I don't think she was too happy about it.

Gotcha, I was just going based on what I read on twitter. When I initially drove by, I honestly thought someone had been killed or something there were so many people out there. I had no idea what was going on, found out it was just the film site.

Yeah. It's been filming a while. A few things I've gathered:

1) There's a bus wreck (I believe) or bus breakdown that takes place in the 80s (judging by the costuming for that scene).

2) The town is "West Finger" Arkansas instead of West Fork, Arkansas. Maybe that's just to make it easy to adjust signage from West Fork to West Finger. I don't think that it's supposed to actually take place in West Fork or anything

3) Nic P. is staying at a house downtown from my understanding.

4) Either cast or crew is staying in the Deep Woods house. Not sure which.

I hear they've been filming down at Devil's Den the past week, too.
