They are filming a lot outside of Fayetteville. I think they filmed in Madison County today.

I'm going to go blind looking for people and places I recognize in this thing when it finally comes out. 8 1-hr long episodes.
I heard they filmed at Susan's in Springdale, too. That place is a time-warp, so that makes sense.

They filmed at AQ in Springdale today. I know they also filmed downtown Springdale on Emma the other day.

Y'all think this one will be as dirty as the others? And I don't mean sex wise, I mean that everyone could use a bath look like the other ones?
The early shoots have been set in 1980 or so, and from the locations I know of, they are definitely going for a "gritty" look, which isn't surprising given the series so far. They've done a lot of South Fayetteville, and I know they scouted Bear's Place on 15th the other day.

I got an opportunity to be a stand in. They needed me for 3-4 days so I won't be able to.

Your persistent jealousy of Fayetteville, as always, is noted.
It's a really big production. I wasn't joking about being an extra on set. I might wind up on the show, might not. It was really cool to see what goes into a big high-quality production like this. The number of people on set blew my mind. The number of takes for our (very minor) scenes was unbelievable. The actors trailers, crew trailors, the catering, the equipment, the sheer size of it really amazed me.
I don't doubt the big economic impact ##s which were paraded around to get the subsidy. In one day of filming, local extras alone payroll probably exceeded $5,000 based on what I was paid (minimum wage plus 2 hrs overtime). The catering bill must have been a few thousand, as well.
They're filming until at least late July, most likely August, based on what the crew I spoke with said. They're filming the equivalent of 8 one-hour movies. That takes a long time.
