Chubb can catch the ball just fine out of the backfield and is a great blocker. Chubb has more burst than Sony.
They have different styles when running in open space but they both have great vision. Chubb seeks contact and works his moves off of that, while Sony seeks to elude but will turn toward contact without hesitation.
I think we’ve been spoiled as a fanbase for running backs when we are sitting here doubting Chubb.
As a GM, I would take Chubb.
That said, everyone is right about the fact Sony will go first, because the mass perception is that he’s the prototype.
All Im saying is Chubb is also a great prototype.

I don't see it as "doubting" Chubb... simply that there is a more clear line of sight to see how Sony can excel in the league. It will be team dependent for both honestly... Sony in the wrong offense will be wasted, meanwhile, Chubb behind the wrong offensive line could be as well. Predicting NFL success is really damn difficult. Backs that were more highly touted than either have struggled. If my job's on the line, I want Sony... the upside is Chubb is going to go later in the draft, so there will be a ton of value in the pick.

All of this

I agree in a straight line. I don't see the lateral movement or suddenness though. He just seems a little stiff and won't be able to overpower NFL teams.
I have a theory that he got a little muscle-bound when he was injured and couldn't work out in a balanced way.
