With a couple of seasons under these guys belts and the addition of the number one JUCO SDE, the DL could make huge strides and that sets the tone for the rest of the D.

If we can get QB pressure with 4 guys and our guys not give up huge holes in the run game, our D could slash their points per drive considerably.

Of course third down and Chavis will play a huge role in all of this.

I think the offense, although not great could at least be serviceable and making a bowl game might not be out of the question.

Agim
Capps
Taylor
Gerald

This could prove to be a good DL if Chadillac decides on it.

BTW I think Kelly likely started his last game for the Hogs already.

It could happen. Morris seemed to talk like it’s a wide open competition.

Competition everywhere. He hit on it in his NSD presser.

Bringing in people to make those who have been here uncomfortable, push people that may have gotten comfortable on this roster and see where they fit and when you get that you can create some competition and get a little fire from the coaching staff and the players will look up and see this is different, this is really different.

29:45 he starts talking about it

Good riddance. Dude was fat and arrogant.

Lost me when he kiss his indestinguishable fat bicep after tying the game against Eastern fricking Carolina.

Gives me nightmares how far bert drove us into the ground.

He's already lost 10 or 15 pounds, last I read.
Sounds like he's buying in.
I wouldn't write him off just yet.
Spring will tell.

he's got the talent to play. he is big enough to be atleast a threat to run as well as we saw last year.

I've taken a few that felt like that, but got on the scales afterward and it hardly even moved.
Seriously, he has (according to report) slimmed down a little and I expect he will a bit more.
Yeah, maybe he's got a little Mallet/Jones in him as far as personality but maybe that's not a bad thing.
Need someone with a little fire in the huddle.
We'll see how he does, but I just don't think it's time to write him off just yet.

We should expect to make a bowl game given the schedule

Colorado State isn't some sure win.

There isn't a sure win on the conference schedule even with vandy on there.

Ths fan base isn’t going to buy into shite with Chad. We all remember BB coming in talkin a big game then going 0fer. I’m excited about the defensive emphasis, but I’ve heard the D line is going to be stout for years. I honestly think we have decent talent on the roster and have confidence Chad will get them out of Herb shape (fat). All being said, I’ll wait and see.

I don't think so, he just participated in a major Prep Baseball Scouting event last week. He threw 92 fwiw and had the 3rd best changeup spin rate.

Faith in Caldwell

Really it's gonna come down to 3rd down efficiency. We're gonna get to find out if 3rd and Chavis continues to live. If it does, maybe Chadillacs offense can overcome Chavis 3rd down deficiency's.

If we make it to third down, that’s a bonus from the last two years.
