We need guys to string some runs together to try and get in their bullpen some. This kid has been lights out today.

At least this guy we're facing now is their best pitcher. Still we shouldn't be struggling this bad.

Please, please switch Golson and Olenek in the order or just move Olenek down somewhere.

Olenek is the worst hitter on this team. I dont care what his average is. Ive been saying it for 2 weeks now. He has to be moved in the lineup

For the same reason Bianco started McArthur, he won't make any lineup changes. This is it, boys.

Well, Olenek was on a tear about a month and half ago, but prior to that nothing special and since he can't find his arse with both hands. Certainly need to move him around. it will either light a fire or at least sort of get him out of the way.

I have a bold idea: we should swing at no less than every other pitch for the rest of the game. It has really been working for the prior 6 innings.

It is true, the ball just isn't jumping off our bats like it is theirs. Don't know if that's pitching or something else.

We damn sure better be more patient next game. It certainly can't hurt.

You gotta give this team credit, they are playing like they know their better than us. Hopefully in game 2 guys wake up. Pressure is squarely on us in game 2.

I'm still astounded we have let this pitcher go this far. That walk to Rowe, who should have already been playing, is his first of the game. We have been woefully impatient at the plate.

If they let him stay in, he can finish this game with less than 100 pitches. A complete game and shutout of #4 in the nation, at home, by an unranked OVC opponent that didn't even win its conference tournament.

Astounding.

ETA: He actually hit 100 in the 8th. Color me surprised.

Welp. Not like 2 runs really make a difference in this game, but at least we scored and didn’t get shut out.

I wish we hadn’t played so poorly, but Tennessee Tech isn’t a bad team and smashed the ball early on. Not much we could have done this game.

Let’s see what Dillard can do.

Rowe tried too hard to do something special right there. Just put the ball in play damnit.

Agreed. Gotta chip away at Big leads, not get it all back at once.
