This was told to an A&M reporter last night after all the super bowl festivities and put up behind a paywall.

He will focus on helping build the 2019 A&M class.

I think the commits we got this week in the 19 class helped a lot.

The commits and time spent with Fisher was a big deal.

This was probably the best Junior Day A&M has ever had.

He will take visits come summer. No one shuts down recruiting before their senior year.

Well, that isn't true.

Here is one example.

I wouldn't say that's a fair comparison. Matthews is an aTm legacy whereas Gunnell is one of the top recruits at the most important position in football.

Even then, Cade Mays said the same things two years ago as a UT legacy.

Stuff changes.

Sure. Maybe a meteor will end human civilization. But given what we know, we can all rest assured that Gunnell is locked into A&M and is investing himself in the team and the class.

I believe the exact quote was "Lose my number" when Gunnell last spoke to 0.

I was never too afraid of LSU when it comes to Gunnell. It's Jimbo vs. O. C'mon now.

He will change his mind when we go 8-0 this year.

You better hope you go 8-0 because if not you might be missing a bow gamr this year. Your schedule is brutal and you’re not reloaded at key spots like you used to.
