Points against Morris that the nega-hogs will bring up when he loses and/or leaves

let's make a list for the nega-hogs to draw from when times get rough.
give them ammo for when they see the sky falling.
- when he said he'll hire the best he didn't mean it
- offering kids that weren't offered by the big schools
- bringing his crew over from SMU expecting them to compete in the SEC
- inexperience as a head coach
- SMU success doesn't translate into SEC success
- too much speed, not enough weight to hold their own in the trenches
- fast paced offense hurts the defense
- defense, defense, defense
PS: with many of the negatives about bielema being brought up after he left or towards the end of his reign, I'm sure the same will happen to morris. as it happens with every coach. but winning also glosses over those negatives.

I've read countless fans bitch about Bielema "slow playing" or waiting too late to offer recruits before they blow up.
Now that we have a staff who identifies early and sends offers before other programs can strike - the complaint has changed to how a recruit doesn't have any big time offers blah, blah, blah.
You can't use both complaints during recruiting season.
Either you want us to wait until a recruit has offers from every SEC program or you want us to be the first to offer - you can't have both.
If we SIGN a recruit who had very few offers then sure critique the quality of the recruiting class but to bitch about the offers a kid has when they are still being evaluated is dumb.

Surely everybody is willing to give Morris at least 3 seasons before the complaining. He's got his work cut out for him to change the culture back to winning, revamping the roster with speed again, and getting that defense to at least be average.
The first 3 seasons, all I want to see is we finish the season better than we started and we start each season better than we ended the year before. Then by year 4 and up we should be competing in the SEC again.

The team doesn’t have to even perform better the first 3 seasons for me as long as they actually look like they are giving it their all. Too many times under BB we looked lazy and the players appeared to be half assing it.

3 year pass. Every 9 win season gets him a 1 year extension. Basically just make it good enough for us to enjoy the season.

Well if yall are anything like you were with Bert, he will get a 4.5 year free pass. 50 points blowouts, embarrassing losses, stupid play calling etc. It can all happen for 4.5 years. Then you will open your eyes and want him out

The way we flopped in season 4 with CBB is when I started turning on him. Season 5 was by far the worst. Glad he was fired.
