Yes it does. It's the same position. The week after surtain Jr visited bama, in which saban tried to sell him on early playing time due to lack of players at his position, yet saban is going in home with yet another cb recruit trying to get him to commit? Bama already has 3 cbs in this class, and you don't think this has anything to do with surtain? Lol. Ok. Let's just wait until feb 7th bc yall are completely dilusional, or have no idea how recruiting works.

doubt it.
just looking at bama's roster: bama is losing 5 dbs to the nfl, and another 3.5 (depending if a RSJR transfers?) to graduation. Losing 8 DBs minimum. And They have like 12 Dbs returning...not sure how many of those are full scholarship players. but Moral of the story? Nick saban likes loading himself up at DB. And TC or PS2 will not be afraid of ANY competition, they're gunna take PT from whoever is on the roster.

plus, miami has 4 Dbs already signed. another committed. and we're still going for surtain and campbell. So I mean, having 3 cbs doesn't mean shite.

We will see. LSU is losing 2 of our staraters as well. You dot see us going after Eddie smith do you? Nah. Why? That's the question you should be asking yourself.

Bold strategy by Coach O -- Surtain or bust. Maybe that's more of a question Coach O should be asking himself.

Bama is losing 6 DBs. We were always going to sign 5-6 this cycle. Bama is taking Eddie regardless of anyone else, they are that high on him. Plus Jobe and possibly Eddie will be safeties for us. We may not get Surtain, but it won’t be for the reason you suggest.

Orgeron wasted a scholarship on a kicker he’ll have for one year, but sure he’s very prepared

Have you ever heard of competition? Its a little thing Nick likes to have at alabama. Eddie has been on the radar since before surtain started trending to being 50/50. Eddie smith is a take no matter what happens. Go eat some more glue.

Yes. Also something to take note of is that it seems bama is passing on ITS which alot of bama people thought he would be a take.

Savion Smith, Jalyn Armour-Davis and Eddie Smith project well as CBs. Saban may view Josh Jobe, Xavier Williams and Jacob Copeland as Nickel, Dime and/or Safety prospects. Eddie looks pretty versatile too (long arms, btw).

Bama is very much in play for Surtain, Campbell and Griffin. Even if we miss on all three, we'll still be a'ight. Saban got dis.

"Off the field issues" is BS reason because Saban has proven he's willing to take a chance on guys with character issues.

No clue why he's not coming to Bama, but that reason doesn't jive with Saban's history.

Why don't you post on the Alabama board anymore?

We all love your input.

The Bama staff prefers Eddie Smith.

Couldn't the same thing apply to Saban? We're essentially passing on ITS, meaning that Saban is going all-in on the PS2/Campbell duo. That could very easily blow up in our face. Unfortunately, I think it will.

Great question for any recruit. Which school will give me the best chance to win a NC. Not a really hard one to answer though since every class Saban has recruited at UA has won at least one NC.
