Had no idea he went to the NBA.

Think he played on like a 10 day contract.
Also, wasn't he a pretty highly touted JUCO?

Yeah, he was... I couldn't see the picture on USAF network.

I guess those 6 games he played for the Bobcats count.
That 2006 Arkansas team was extremely talented for a first round loss to Bucknell. Ronnie Brewer, Olu Famutimi, Jefferson, Darian Townes, Jonathon Modica, Charles Thomas, Stephen Hill...not a bad lineup.

I expected better from these guys:
Olu Famutimi(knee) Jefferson, Darian Townes,Charles Thomas, Stephen Hill
That first year with him, kendrick davis and pharis was really really tough.

I remember that first year. We had only 3 guards, Kendrick Davis, Eric Ferguson, and Pookie. 9-19. I still remember every game being virtually packed though. Given the situation they were in, I thought the guards did alright.

I was pretty excited after the Jackson state game. We had an absurd amount of rebounds in that game.

Look back and see what kinda team we would've had if we'd kept Nolan a couple more years.

Ronnie Brewer and Sonny weems would have been nice

Andre Iguodala was ours too until Nolan left. And I believe we lost some other big names. I was thinking there was a big man coming that ended up going straight to the NBA. We were in the hunt for Emeka Okafor as well, but I think we'd already lost him.

You are thinking of Big Al Jefferson. He would have been an absolute beast in college.

I never felt like Heath sucked the life out of the team. I just felt like he couldn’t get the best out of his talent. They could never shoot and their free throws were terrible. Always vulnerable to teams with good shooting guards.

Players didn't like him. This comes first hand from several players on that team. And he wasn't a great coach. You can be a dick if you're winning and players see themselves improve. But, he didn't.

I have no reason to doubt what you’re saying. I was just going by his on court demeanor and relationship with his players that was visible on tv.
