Moving into my new home today. Moving sucks.

I posted here a couple of months ago how I bought a home and the day we closed on it and signed the paperwork we ran into problems. When meeting the homeowner to get the keys I noticed that the copper refrigerant lines to the AC unit were missing. Upon further inspection I noticed most of my supply plumbing lines were stolen and they also stole my copper gas lines. When we cut the power on I discovered that they also got in the attic and stole my electrical wires.

Well I paid a plumber $2300.00 bucks to run new water lines so it is new all the way from the meter. Some of you guys convinced me to run the new gas lines in black iron instead of copper and I did. Worked out well. I spent the last week on vacation running all new electrical wire.

Now I have a home that is only 18 years old and have brand new plumbing, electrical and gas lines. It will last my lifetime and probably my kid's lifetime as well. At first I wanted to murder the crackheads that stole my shite but it really was a blessing in disguise. Thanks for those of you that offered suggestions. Sorry for the dear diary entry but I am pretty excited other than all the labor involved in moving.
