tOfficial Florida kicked our @$$ melt thread

The cluelessness this team has played with has gone on for far too long. Mike has got to get some serious heat at this point. No one has any idea what they should be doing.

I just don't even care anymore. I was pissed the last 2 weeks, but apathy has set in. No Frick given this time around. I'll just make fun of our team in the gend thread.

This team needs a thug.

Was at the game saturday. Haven't had a chance to post my observations from that one but I'll just do them both.
1. Someone on here made reference to some lockerroom division. I watched all of pregame and kept a close eye on the bench during the game. It's obviously Barford. His body language sucks and the lack of interaction with teammates is just pathetic. granted he played hard saturday but his body language sucked. Same last night from what parts of the game I got to watch.
2. We have wasted at least 2 scholarships on players that bring absolutely nothing to the team.... and 1 is a starter. Thomas and Cook consistently blow point blank shots and get out-rebounded because of poor position....
yet they play more minutes than Bailey.
3. CJ Jones has flat disappeared. When we were playing well he was playing well.... it's like the stat line that no one can seem to find. We need him to play well.
4. Our defensive fundamentals are horrid. Several times Saturday I saw us triple team a post entry pass and leave 2 shooters TWO spotted up on the same side. most of the time Robertson was one of them and he couldn't miss.... which brings me to my final point.
5. Does MA not bother scouting the opponent? It was like he was the most surprised person in the building that Robertson was going off. And he had no clue how to defend him.

I was all for the MA hire and I really like him. But this team is going backwards.

I would really like to see a lineup like this a few minutes a game.

1 Macon
2 Jones
3 Hall
4 Bailey
5 Gafford
Athletic group that will all D up and can attack the rim. How many minutes on the year has this group been on the floor together? Zero that I've seen... at least lately

I've been saying that for awhile now. It's between Barford and Macon, although I think mostly it's Barford being arse-hurt that he isn't the clear-cut best player on the team. He is cocky to the point of being obnoxiously arrogant.

After one game this year some reporter asked him about how his shooting had improved and his response was, "I told y'all I was gonna be just like Steph Curry." I mean seriously who the frick says shite like that.

And then once Macon scored 33 points against Tennessee the entire team took a nosedive

Of course, Barford is a good player, but he's also a frickin diva. It's obvious. Mike needs to bench him for awhile. If he doesn't respond to that well, then he just isn't a team player.
