No, you were banned for being an argumentative arse. Much like you're being in this thread.

"In Saban's defense, it was being reported even in November that Tua, while obviously the best passer, had a nasty habit of throwing pick 6s in practices."

I never read that anywhere but on this board. I said then it was internet bullshite from a few posters trying to justify why Saban was not playing the better qb.

It's not like there was any evidence of this in the season.

Look, I'm all for Tua to take over next year, but if you think the GOAT Head Coach had no reason to be so hesitant to put in Tua over Jalen, then I don't know what to tell you. If Saban wasn't worried about the TOs with Tua, then he clearly isn't the GOAT for leaving the clearly better QB on the bench for literally no reason.

It's about putting the team in the best position to win.

I saw the 2nd half. I saw one qb helplessly struggle as usual. I saw another put up 26 in a single half.

I ascribe to Frost’s quote....

“The other answer is that he was pretty obviously better and they had 12 games to figure that out and didn’t. Coach Saban is above criticism with everything he’s accomplished, so I don’t mean it that way, but I recruited Tua out of high school and knew what he could do and it doesn’t surprise me that he did what he did. Jalen’s a great player, too. That was a very bold and courageous move and I’m surprised it didn’t happen earlier [in the season].”

And since I know Saban knows what he is doing, it had to have been a personal loyalty thing.

Then why did Oregon wait until the summer of 2016 to offer Tua, 6 months after you left Oregon, Scott?

How can you seriously put much stock into what Frost has to say? A week ago was probably the first time he saw him play against a college defense.

I’m not going to argue about this with you. Tua just won us a championship. Show some appreciation.

Let me get this straight... You're taking the opinion of Frost (who recruited him in HS and didn't offer until they lost their 359th ranked recruit and TT was already committed here) over Saban's who has seen him in practice against a top collegiate defensive team (not HS talent) over the course of the last year? Makes sense...

Haven't you been following his posts since he showed up here?

He doesn't need to watch practice. He knows everything.
