Nope. Sorry, just so you want it to be true you believe it. Get used to disappointment. My bad you are a Georgia fan you are used to disappointment.

Not at all. We are under a 2nd year HC who currently has the no. 1 recruiting class the next 2 years, and we made it all the way to the NC and had a shot to win it. Like I said, we will win it all next year.

Bama will be great
Clemson will be great
Ohio State will be great

There will be lots of great teams.

This idea that a championship team can be assembled very soon is a fallacy created by Saban’s success.

I wouldn't trade our line next year for yours. Our line should be elite as well.

Damn, my "Tua in a Row" and "Going for #18 in 2018" t-shirt ideas are dead before they started.

Just saw an inspired t-shirt idea on another site (RollTideBama) to commemorate this year's NC: Nick Six

- winning TD was caught by #6
- Was the Sixth play of overtime
- Secured # 6 National Championship for Nick Saban
- Saban is 66

Saban won 6 at 66.

Thank you for this post. I was feeling a little down and under the weather. Laughter really is the best medicine.

I'm here for you brother. This is a tough time of year to feel alone and be left pondering on what could have been. If you start to have feelings that you are a shooty hoops school, call for help!

I prefer to ponder on what was (26-14). Congrats on your second place finish in the SEC West.

What does Bama have to do with UGA??

UGA finished no. 2 and could have easily won the NC behind freshman at QB, RB, and 2 spots on the OL

Do I need to spell this out for you again?

I think if you check Bama was tied for first place in the west. You won the tiebreaker and went to Atlanta and shite the bed. I'm happy the boogs have a banner to hang.
But #1 in the country trumps #1 in the west. But you know that, right little bro?

1. We will have the best OL, and one of the best offense in the nation. WR’s will be better, Fromm will be better, and Swift, White, Cook and Holyfield will be nearly on par as Chubb and Michel.

Chubb, Michel, and Wims accounted for approximately 50% of Georgia's offensive production. They are gone. You might also lose Godwin, who accounted for another 10% of total production. That would be 60% of Georgia's 2017 production gone to the NFL.

quote:

3. Our DL will be straight nasty next year. With Thompson, and Ledbetter likely returning, then adding in Clark, carter and Marshall. Not to mention Wyatt and Beal from last year, and cox from this year.

Assuming Roquan Smith goes pro (and he's projected as a first rounder so he'd be crazy not to), Georgia loses 7/14 players from its front seven two-deep. That's literally half the players. Gone. That includes all four starting linebackers.

quote:

4. Our secondary will be improved. We signed a ton of DB’s last year, and several have already gotten experience. We are going hard after Campbell and Stuart this year(both 5 stars) and should return our best player in Baker.

Baker might also go pro, which would mean Georgia loses 4/8 from the secondary two-deep. Again, that's half of the players.

To review

Georgia loses half of its offensive production and half of its defense. But sure, they will somehow be better than they were this year and win the NC.

Georgia fans can’t see that it was literally a once in a lifetime/generation type game for them. They won’t be back for another 30 years.

Sorry
Clemson reporting starting DE Bryant an Ferrell both returning next year. Entire Defense will be back virtually in tact. Entire offense returning except Two WR and one guard. Plus top 2 recruiting class. Scary.

UGA will not win the East and will not be in the Playoff next year. Sorry.
