I want to bite but the hook is to shiny.

I will say:
He was clutch and a very good kicker, I wished he had come to Bama.

I feel a little bad for Fromm. A true freshman leads his team almost the entire season, straight to the title game, and now the kid who played only one half plus OT meaningful minutes is getting most of the press. It's not Tua's fault -- he deserves the attention -- but Fromm has been mostly an afterthought, with a bit of next year's Heisman discussion and such being the main talking points about him post-CFBCG.

And then I read that some expert is saying UGA's incoming frosh QB will beat out Fromm for the start next season. Kid's not getting a lot of love for what he accomplished.

What's his name, "Hot Rod"? Should have been the hero if there was any justice in this world.

How clutch was it to step up and nail a 50+ yard field goal in the overtime, when you knew your team had to have it?

Good on him

True. Rod was clutch as hell.

Your threads and posts .... not so clutch.

Surely to God Saban is bringing in a kicker.

Well, it appears Saban agrees with you.

I would be shocked if this happened. I think the plan is for some packages to be put in for Fields next year, then more playing time the next season, then take over when Fromm is gone. I guess only time will tell. Nobody expected Fromm to be out there this season. He was much better than any of us thought he could be, though.

You guys have really struggled there for awhile. Saban doesn't seem to put much value in the position and it almost cost you.

I think Georgia has had some traditionally good kickers and he looks like next one.

Hot Rod is being coached up by a 55 year old Student Assistant, Kevin Butler. 4-time All-SEC and 2-time All American kicker. KB was the first kicker ever inducted into the College Football Hall Of Fame.

Yeah, I'm not expecting it myself. If Fromm was a fluke, we would have seen it already over the course of the season. It just feels like what he's accomplished is being disrespected when sports writers are predicting some kid who's never taken a snap of college ball will muscle him out after the season he just had.

Alabama has brought in highly regarded kickers one after another and we have proceeded to destroy them from day 1 with frightening consistency and effectiveness. Whatever the staff is doing, they are doing all wrong. I hope like hell this Stark guy we just hired from A&M can help some. I'm tired of sweating 35 yard chip shots.

Why feel sorry for him he was allowed to false start on the final extra point kick to beat OU. he took 2 steps before snap go search film it is obvious bad call. They missed the call and allowed UGA to win and get to NC game on a blown call. He was lucky to even be in NC game. For all crying about Bama and bad calls, look hard UGA got to NC game on a missed false start call that ref totally blew. Now he may have made extra point anyway but who knows the second try from 5 yards further back could have been missed. POINT? IT is what it is and so why cry about outcomes. All year teams get good and bad breaks, that is sports.
