I think that's the general consensus from their fan base.

I only venture over to tiger rant when drunk. Therefore I don't have full recall of the things I read. They are certainly a unique and (mostly) lovable bunch.

Thanks, but we choked it away.

Appreciate ya brotha. Definitely a top notch poster in my book. Tough pill to swallow, but just have to take a step back from the game and think about everything that went right this season... then remember the very factual statement: This will potentially be the least talented roster that Smart has for the next 3-4 years... after that, all bets are off, since recruiting can ebb and flow (no one has shown Saban's level of consistency there yet... Meyer close). Based on what we've seen thus far though, it certainly looks like Kirby is prepared to get it done... he's not strictly selling playing time the way a lot of early head coaches are...
Thanks for the honesty bud. I think this is the single weirdest thing I'm seeing from the majority of Bama posters... it's like they're somehow afraid that admitting this makes the game/accomplishment less than or something... frick that. Y'all had last year's game taken away with an imbalanced game the opposite direction... shite happens, gotta take the breaks when you can.
In watching the NFL playoffs last weekend, they commented on having a secondary officiating crew essentially watching from the sidelines who whistled in a dead ball and called a missed procedural penalty of some kind. I know there is a delicate balance of trying to keep the games moving, but once it gets to the playoffs, I don't believe they actually care about game length... it would seem that getting the calls *right* would trump speed at that point.
None of that changes the fact that our coaches got too tentative, or that we somehow ignored that Bama had clearly gameplanned to stop Chubb quite well, but Michel was having success... but perhaps more surprisingly, we seemed to have no gameplan for what happened if Tua got inserted, which I'd say 75% of message board posters with a brain knew there was a good chance if Bama's offense struggled again. Learning experience I guess... but a really costly one.
Looking forward to many more matchups in the future... hopefully we can actually make Saban's arse quit... one day. At the very least... would be nice to get one of these epic battles to go our way.

I know the officiating was atrocious two nights ago. I hate that things weren't called as they should have been because those refs get paid a shite ton of money to get it right and they failed. Hopefully the CFP committee takes a long hard look at how they determine who calls these games moving forward.

why can't many SECRant Bama fans admit the refs helped bama much more than UGA? I got Bama friend in S FL that is a HS FB coach that refuses to think the Big 10 Crew fricked it up.

Come on man. Dropped passes, missed tackles, bad angles, and two picks beat us. If anything those bad calls should have fired the team up more to execute. The refs were shite but we beat ourselves.

Only truly bad ones are LaMotta and Queef.
I lit into LaMotta pretty good yesterday and he quit posting in the thread. After thinking about it, I felt bad for lighting him up so much and apologized, and he was good the rest of the day.
I get the feeling he is just wanting to have fun and doesn't fully realize the frustration and pain many of us are going through right now. I'm pretty sure he does now, though. He was actually very nice after that.

That said, the reason is people want due credit for what their team accomplished, and if people put qualifiers on a victory it diminishes it. They just want people to recognize they had a great team and deserved a victory. And, they did.
