The nations leader in TDs is coming back to run what should be a very potent offensive.

A fun thing to watch will be to see if DL gets invited to the Heisman party in 18. He has to be in consideration to start the year. Who is his competition?

The Heisman always goes to a player on a relevant team. So for Lock to be in consideration Walters has to help get the defense to make a big improvement.

That.

Mizzou needs to win at least 10 games before a bowl invite for Lock to be considered unless he goes off for something crazy like 4800 yards and 50TDs. Even then, they’d need a big win against Bama or UGA

He’s a darkhorse at best. His team won’t allow him to ascend to Heisman level. But, if the school wants to put together a campaign like they did for Daniel he might get an invite, but I highly doubt it.
New OC....not knowing what kind of offense we’re going to run...it’s hard to imagine him being invited. If he has a great year, he could be the 1st or 2nd QB drafted though. That would be well worth him coming back.

Unfortunately, like Chase Daniel, Mizzou has to get to a #1 ranking just to get into the finalist position and that AIN'T HAPPENING.

Chase didn’t really need a campaign that team came into that season with very high expectations imo.

The sports radio in the Atlanta area are all over Fromm and, secondarily, the Penn State QB. According to them, no point in playing any games this fall, Fromm is a shoo-in.

What plays in his favor is the fact that BO's defense will allow a lot of points causing shootouts leading to big stats.

What is against him is that BO's defense will stop no one and this team will be lucky to win 7 games and 7 game winners dont win the Heisman

Lamar Jackson went 9-3 and win the Heisman at Louisville

Lock just has to have a great season and Mizzou needs to win minimum 8 games in the regular season

I doubt he gets the Heisman.
