Exactly. Same reason that *most* LSU/UGA fans are cool as well. Again... mutual dislike of Auburn and Florida... and infrequent meetings. The LF7/Guice/Chubb stuff aside, I get along with the non rantard varietal of LSU posters. And in person, LSU fans are great to have at your tailgate... gimme some cajun cookin and we can be Baws before and after the game...

Looking forward to next season's matchup. Probably will setup a meetup with some of the other dawg posters here... I've never made it to BR... been to NO plenty.

Explains why UGA fans have always been been below the fray.

UGA has always been my second favorite SEC school.

My BFF from 3rd grade till this very day went to UGA and I spent many a weekend in Athens over our college years. And Bama fans still really like and respect Kirby. He will always be "one of us" for what he did at Bama and I really admire him for not taking any old job just to cash in before he was ready. He waited for Mama to call.

(I really hoped that UGA would pass him over when y'all fired Richt and go with a guy with HC experience because I always wanted him to take over after Saban retires. But I don't think he will ever leave UGA voluntarily.)

Don't get me wrong, I hope Bama stomps UGA's dick in the dirt but if Bama loses, after I poison some trees and shoot some kinfolk, I'll be very happy for Kirby and my BFF and all the other UGA fans.

And the Aubbies will be super pissed either way, so that's a win-win. I actually think they'll be madder if y'all win.

They've gotten numb to Bama winning it all and their NC from 2010 is all they've got left to hang over y'all.

Hope it's a game for the ages with no injuries. May the best team win! (That's Bama, BTW )

Dont run across many Ga fans this far west, I would take a gander at the finest trailer parks in East MS/West AL prior to making this claim though.

The one thing OM and MSU have going for them is the worst of our state are either Bama or LSU fans, they own our trailer parks and Section 8 housing.

Only about 10 percent of Auburn students come from the state of Georgia according to numbers released by Auburn themselves. Half of those people have some family connection.
