I get the feeling towards Hurts because he just isn’t a good passer, but some of y’all can tone down the vitriol a tad bit. I mean the kid is still one of our players haha.

Win or lose next week I think Tua has to be the guy if we want to keep our skill players happy. You can look at the WRs and just see their frustration.

I hope it happens for sure. No I’ll will towards Hurts, but we can’t utilize our receivers to their fullest potential with him.

Let's also hope that our O line doesn't get destroyed again.

Tua HAS to be the guy next year, if not, this may happen:

-Tua may transfer
-A WR or two may transfer
-Taulia Tagovailoa won’t commit here if Tua leaves
-We’re stuck with a struggling offense

I love Jalen as a person and I wish he’d stay and just change positions or something but I doubt he’d do that.

When was the OL destroyed?

Several times last night, Clemson was constantly getting penetration, not just along the edges but in the center, Hurts doesn't handle pressure well and our Oline can't protect.

Our O line proved to me they can run block against a great D line, but yea pass pro is still an issue (of course, Clemson’s Best strength is their pass rush).

The O-line was fantastic in run blocking. They even won the battles in the interior, which I had zero confidence in.

Georgia's defensive line is not on the same level as Clemson's. That's a big positive going into the next one, even if Cotton is out.

As it is every year. That's kind of our thing.

I don't see it as a big deal. If anything, due to our injuries, it makes an awesome narrative.

"Stuck" with them getting us to the NC haha.

A lot of people are freaking out about our offense going against Georgia’s defense, but this is what is making me think we can have better success running the ball even better than we did vs. Clemson. We could not run outside the tackles vs them very well and hopefully we can against Georgia.

Beat the #1 defending national champs in the first Sugar Bowl Win in 25 years and still people bitch. Just be proud of the team we got and accept the limitations.

Besides, aren’t we playing for this thing called a national title on Monday? And odds on favorite to win it all? So I guess this guy and this team must be pretty decent.

But then again some of you were hoping Clemson would win so we can bench Jalen so it really shows where your priorities are.

The boy has as many national title appearances as he does losses as a starter. He was the SEC offensive player last year and broke plenty of records. He’s our QB and a damn fine one.

And this is coming from someone who thinks Tua wins the starting position next year.

When has it not?

We passed for 58 yards in the 2009 Championship Game.

Then there were the multiple occasions when Hurts stood in a clean pocket for 5-6 seconds and still held the damn ball and had to either throw it away or try to scramble. His decision making is maddening.

The guy just doesn't see what is happening out on the field well on any level. He constantly makes zero adjustments to a team potentially having a free blitzer (you can't block 6 with 5), he makes the wrong decision on when to keep or give in the zone read pretty often, and he looks absolutely lost when his first option is covered.

I don't know if it is a coaching issue or just something he is never going to figure out.

I think there is a really good QB in there, but I'm not sure if we are ever going to see it.

Probably 115 Division 1 schools who would trade their Oline for Bama's

Serious question, since I didn't play football at a higher level.
When the offense is over the ball and making their checks, and getting all of the blocking straight, who's responsibility is it to recognize a blitz and adjust the blocking scheme to handle it? I assume its on the QB, but just want to confirm that its not the center.
I've always assumed that some of the lines problem in pass pro is that the blitz isn't being identified prior to the snap so no adjustment is being made. But again, I'm far from an expert.
