Care to expound? The yearly numbers favor Manziel

No they don't. Unless you're including his partial year at Tech.

There's not a single statistical passing category where Manziel was better. He ran more, I'll give you that, but Baker isn't a running QB. He rarely tries to run upfield, so not really comparable. As a passer, it's not even close, tbh.

Well it took me 2 seconds to confirm. Manziel was better his first 2 years (only accurate way to compare the 2). Higher Comp %, more yards, TDs and a higher yds per attempt. I won’t even mention the playmaking ability with his feet that really made him special. Thanks for playing.

So since your QB can't run you ignore the fact another can to try and win an argument?

Manziel has 9,989 yards and 93 TDs in 2 years as a FR & SO

Baker has had 8,792 yards and 93 TDs in 2 years as a JR & SR.

Johnny did it in the SEC, Baker did it in the Big 12.

Seems clear to me that Johnny has the edge, but at least its kind of close.

Seriously? Per your links, Manziel's Freshman numbers vs SEC defenses were comparable to Baker's JR year vs Big12 defenses.

As a 5th year SR, Mayfield put up 200 more yards and 4 more TDs than a Sophomore Manziel.

Those numbers don't suggest that Baker is clearly a superior QB, imo. He's a helluva competitor. I don't want to sound like a Baker basher.
