I will preface this with a Go Dawgs! I have every expectation that you will win and continue to succeed this year.
But if you lose ..... y'all need to simmer the frick down and concede a few undeniable facts. The SEC east was fricking hot garbage this year. You beat a marginal and unquestionably less talented Notre Dame team by one fricking point in a game you could have easily lost. Then you shite he bed against an inconsistent Auburn team who essentially lost to one good team and beat one good team. Lucky for you the good team Auburn beat was it's super bowl Bama, which created a unique situation because of how shitty the rest of the SEC West was that allowed Auburn to backdoor their way into the SEC Championship game. Only then were you able to do what you should have been able to do the first time and smack Aubie. Had you played the actual best team in the SEC, chances are you would have carried your arse home to Athens after having it handed to you by Bama's third string linebackers.
Now, here you are playing a playoff game against a less talented OU team. If you lose, it will be pretty hard not to chalk this season up as a fluke. Kirby didn't do shite last year and he's winning with a loaded team in their senior year.
I'm rooting for you, but if you lose you may need to take it down a notch. You are champions of jack shite just like everyone else.

Despite the ignorant masses (99% of this board) desperately wanting this to be true, we will not really care. Yall think we're going to have a nuclear meltdown which couldn't be farther from the truth, because the reality is we're playign with house money at this point.
-Look at the preseason prediction thread, our fanbase predicted 9-3 or potentially 10-2 this year. We went 11-1 instead and won the SEC title
-We beat every team we played thus far
-We have the #1 recruiting class
-We have made the playoffs for the first time ever
We've had a better season than pretty much any dawg fan could have possibly hoped, so at this point whatever happens happens. Obviously if I could choose I would WANT to win, of course, but losing isn't gonna be the worst thing. This is probably one of the 4 or 5 best seasons in UGA history, I think all of us with some moderate sense of logic and reason are just enjoying the ride.
With that said, don't act like every team in America aside from 3 of them wouldn't trade places with us in a heartbeat.

The only area you have any advantage on us is at QB and receiver. In almost every other position UGA is superior. Doesn't mean we will win, but it is what it is.

OU is without question less talented. It's a gimmick B12 program who is getting hyped to play their second real game of the season and this time it's against their mortal enemy SEC SEC SEC.
If UGA bitch slaps you down like they should, I have no doubt we won't see you here for awhile just like it was the last time I had a thought about OU in 2013 Cotton Bowl.

We also beat the SECW champion by 3 TD's and the SECW #4 team by more than 4 TD's. So you bunch of also rans from the West just need to stfu about us being in a week East.

In the grander scheme, UGA is probably the 3rd or 4th best team in the playoffs.
It's football, any and everything can happen in CFB. You have two young head coaches, just depends on which one has prepared his team the best.

An 8-3 ND team is marginal? I guess that means that ATM has be a below average team since they’ve joined the SEC.
