It will be interesting to see how he schemes next year with our roster. We are heavy in TEs and not WRs and he’s heavy in WRs and not TEs in year 3 at SMU.

I'm fine with Morris. We'll recruit the Texas offensive talent we need to be successful here. He laid the blueprint for Clemson run to the top and has made SMU competitive when they were in Kansas shape bad.

If true, home run hire. Our fanbase just won't know it for a while. Perfect fit. Only thing I worry about is him bolting to A&M, but we'll probably take steps to prohibit that in the contract

He wasn't my first choice, and you have to wonder what skeletons were in Norvell's closet that he wasn't offered the job, but he's not my last choice.

The dude will do the press conference, get everyone invested, the media will show a few fluff pieces about his offense, and everybody will be on board within a month.

I think We punt a bit on the next hire. Probably take a look at a Chad Morris + Jeff Traylor combo from SMU. Try to change culture and pipeline Texas again.
