GM is still in play, as stupid as that sounds... as per some of the GOBN.
Norvell is still in play, but down the list a bit.
THis should please a couple on this board.
Venables is still in play, I never thought he was for sure until tonight.
Here is the kicker... We are absolutely screwed waiting this late in the game for one GM. If he comes it will be a crap show of political tug of war between the BOT and GOBN, if he doesn't it will be a political tug of war between the same.
Pigfeet is correct in several areas, whoever his source is, is legit overall.
I am about to quit posting anything about this search until some actually verifiable happens. There are so many rumors right now nothing is for sure.
It may have been posted, one rumor I have heard is the GM wants to hire Hugh Freeze for his staff wherever he is. and no, it wasn't from tardville. ALthouh it is there as well.

Didn’t ask or dig deeper about ‘issues’ so don’t shoot the messenger. I will post as soon as I hear. Looks like the BOT has squashed some of the candidates. GOBN wanted Gus, with Norvell as the backup, shut down by BOT.
It’s looking like Venebles, Horton or I do think Norvell May have a chance with more vetting.

And that goes for Hogville, the Arkansas media, especially the national media. Nobody knows anything. No one can know amything. The people calling these shots aren’t talking to their neighbors or strangers in elevators or anyone else. We just need to be patient.
Having said that, I could believe part of the OO. I’ve never believed Gus was a real target. He’s just too decisive.

Glad someone came to their senses. Unless Gus wants to return for what we were paying Bert then he should stay. We could hire Kiffin or Leach for half of Bert's former salary and probably win the same at minimum.
