We definitely came out with the better end of that deal with Orgeron

They paid $75mil, 10yrs for a 9-3 coach we paid $9mil, 3yrs for a 9-3 coach. Who do you think got the better deal?

Cause they weren’t going to give into insane contract demands. Sounds about right for A&M to pay a 6-6 coach 75 mil over 10years. Fricking ridiculous. Terrible business decision by a mediocre program.

I'll explain it you. Jimbo was interested in LSU and LSU was interested in Jimbo. FSU made Jimbo some promises, such as upgrading facilities and investing more money in the football program, which convinced Jimbo to stay. Over the course of the year FSU renigged, and then the season started, lost qb, and here we are FSU could end their streak of 35 straight bowl games(but probably not).Jinbo not happy with them, and they are not happy with him. Anyway, Jimbo was mad because he was lied to, and so this time he took the SEC job offered. It has nothing to with LSU, and Sexton negotiated the contract, not Jimbo. It has everything to do with timing, and the best available program in the South at the time that Fisher finally got fed up.Would have probably been UT, had the ad not been a worse train wreck than the one he is leaving. It is not a reflection on LSU, and LSU fans should just say great hire, and move on.

College Station is a cleaner, nicer town

I hope you don’t believe this. College Station is one of the worst college towns in the country. It may be up there with Lubbock.

Yeah it's all timing with this hire. The 10 year contract is baffling though. Especially to a coach that had a 6-6 year. He's still a good coach though. It should make our series with them a little more interesting.

I don’t mean to nitpick.

What do you believe the root of this word is?

“Reneged”

That particular market has more money than sense.

A&M just got alot better today. A&M thinks a championship is worth 75 mil but if that's you want then go get it. The SEC West just got stronger.

The only way a7m can pretend like they’re one of the big dogs is by throwing around and wasting a bunch of cash. Our AD is retarded but apparently not retarded enough to guarantee 75 mil to Jimbo

Jimbo called Nick and asked his advice. Apparently, Saban told him that there are a lot better jobs out there.

That's what happens when you lose a quarterback and a leader in game 1. They are probably at least 9 win team with Francois

actually A&M are fools for paying that kind of money for a coach who failed this year.

5-6 with top 5 recruits all over the field shouldn’t happen even with the backup. 14-10 Acc last 3 years with elite talent isn’t very good
