This is how I feel. I’m a woman and I read and thoroughly enjoyed the books years ago. I knew it would be somewhat cheesy when I saw Shonda Rimes had a hand in it. I finished the season and it was entertaining but Pride and Prejudice it is not.
Casting was well done though. Lady Danbury was fabulous and I loved Nicola as Penelope (one of my favorite characters from the series).
If you like Bridgerton and haven’t seen the A&E version of P&P with Colin Firth I highly recommend.
