I would be happy with either. But Lane would be gone in a few years if he had success. If Gus works for us, he retires here.

If that happens fine but last night when it was rumored Tenn got Leach my thoughts were dang they got interesting quirky one, then there's the funny option Lane, then there's the newbie cutie option Norvell and then there's not interesting, not funny, not cute Gus. We better fricking win if we hire him, other than that there's no entertainment value with that dull, dusty hire.

I disagree. We aren't a directional school, we can afford to pay coaches, NWA is a great area, especially compared to many other "bigger named" schools. When was the last time we lost a coach to another school? Holtz? Sutton?

Wasn't Holtz. He got fired.
Plus, at this point in his career, Kiffin is sure to be thinking that he needs to stick it out somewhere for awhile. It's literally the biggest knock against him right now is that he doesn't stay anywhere. Well, that and he acts like a child.
I would have to think that his next gig will be a place he wants to stay for awhile and act like a mature adult. Well, best he can anyways

He has run his mouth all week at Tennessee, I remember we once had a coach like that. He got his butt kicked a lot. I would expect nothing different from Lane when he gets his next P5 job. He still hasn't grown up.
