Had this convo in the office they other day...

People asking why I loved college football so much. Had to explain. They understood.

Not a lot of College sports fans, but we asked then.

What would you do for a national title?

I would gladly take a year of a title for 10 years of probation from the NCAA.

Just gimme that one time and I'm good.

Would the 10 years probation be due to something that won us the title thus causing us to vacate that title?

If not, yeah I'd probably be on board with that.

Is this strictly in the scope of sacrifices regarding our football program?

Because there are a lot of things I would personally do for a national title. I mean, A LOT.

For a national title in football?

I would rehire Bielema afterwards and sign him to an ironclad 15 year contract.

I'd put my hand in a wood chipper if I got to see South Carolina win a football national title.

I had this same conversation, but was basing it on other sports and what titles in those would equal to.

I would trade 5 Men's Basketball titles for one in football.

I would trade 10 Baseball titles for one in football.

I would trade 100 women's basketball titles for one in football. (maybe more)

I'd have all of our women's programs and everything but basketball eliminated for one football title.

I'd trade one title for ten years of crappy football.

This is smart. Bert will probably suffer a major heart attack within the next 10 years.

I would rescind my personal ban on all things orange. I don't wear orange. I don't eat off orange plates or drink out orange cups. I don't drink orange juice or buy drinks in orange colored cans. But give me a title, and I'll begrudgingly acknowledge the color.

I see nothing wrong with it. I am the same way. I avoid all things orange at all costs.

This is a joke that I'm not part of right?

Love a good Mimosa at Brunch, would never be able to turn that down.
