Market is pricing coaches. It appears to be taking a big step up salary wise.
Hasn't ESPN's CFB ratings been down, though? (Not as bad as NFL, but still down). Let's be real, ESPN is the real boss of the SEC cuz they dictate the "market price" of anything to do with SEC football. Coaches salaries are dependent on how good ESPN's ratings are.

Not Gus fault the FG was blocked, Stidham fumbled and Kerryon fumbled. shite happens sometimes. Leave it to the posters on this board to be short sighted

Is it difficult to prepare a team to play two #1s and a #6 in 4 weeks? Two RBs gets hurt and sometimes it goes that way. For anyone to look at this game alone as a reason for us not to pay Gus is absurd. We had a hell of a finish to get to this point

It's not even worth trying to explain it to them

I know it's not. They show up to this board to bitch when we're bad but can hardly be found when we're winning. I'll do it anyone because someone has to be level headed

I wonder if Gus really has been on the phone with Arky this week. This team looks like other teams I've seen in the past with a coach on his way out.
I didn't believe the Gus to Arky rumors at first, but who knows. Money talks.

Well, he'll go to Arkansas now. Do you think Auburn would give Kiffin a look?

I hope we give Kiffen a shot

Dunno what's funny?? If Gus jumps ship, we're behind the curve of other programs in the coaching carousel. I would hope AU at least interviews him.

It isn't Gus' fault that a RB who in no way in hell should have even been on the field fumbled the ball in a key situation? Injured players make mistakes.
Its the SEC Championship game and he still hasn't found a RB after all these games who can carry the ball in an emergency. His trust issues are absurd, and as you are seeing, all those who thought he "finally learned" jumped the gun quite a bit. 50+ year old coaches don't typically "learn" at this stage. If we keep him long term this is going to be the shite that lingers with him forever: "Gus moments".
