Good thing Auburn beat the #1 team in the country for the second time this year. No Gus for us! Now they have a shot at winning the SEC championship and getting a spot in the playoff and a chance at a national championship. Now we don't have to worry about Gus coming here. Really dodged that bullet!

Auburn is near Atlanta so beating Bama is easy. Wouldn't work here. Went to the wrong church and stole our recruits. Give me Skip Norvell.

It's funny because some people are being serious when they say that.

I'm worried that the people who believe it have a serious head injury or a brain tumor.

Worry about yourself. The last hire should tell you success elsewhere does not equal success at Arkansas.

You could say that about literally every candidate. Why are we looking at Norvell? Success elsewhere, right?

The hire before that tells you that it does. I don't buy for a second that Bielema's results are a reflection of Arkansas' potential.

Hell, I've changed my mind. I'll chip in some gas money for the Gus bus now.

But remember, Stonehog, Gus wouldnt be able to get a good defense here. And without that great Auburn defense yesterday Alabama would have blown them out of the water.

People can't even keep a train of logic running when it comes to justifying their preferences for coaches.

Need a coach like Gus because we won't have a defense, but Gus wouldnt be any good without a defense. Don't care. Want Gus anyways.

Don't want a defensive mind because again we can't get a defense. Lol

Because tRant says so, of course. Our recruiting footprint doesn't put us in the hunt for good defenders and because, get this, there ain't one good defender in the entire fricking state of Texas, let alone the DFW area.

The unnecessary hyperbole isn't helping your case. No one ever said Arkansas can't have a good defense.

"We can't get enough defenders to be competitive with a defensive coach" (paraphrasing).

LINK

It's a very common misconception that is typed out a dozen times a day or more on this board.

I’d just gotten to the point where I was ok with the idea of him and then he goes and beats Bama.
