The narrative of, "Poor lil ol' Arkiesaw should just be glad to be in the SEC" needs to end. We have all the resources needed to compete. If we can get the right hires, there really is no limit to what we can achieve.

In college football you need three things, one intangible: (1) Money; (2) Recruiting base; (3) Commitment to excellence by administration.
Arkansas is pretty good at (1), alright at (3), but they will never be consistently elite because (2) is dreadful. Sorry guys, bad luck there. Y'all can still field solid teams every now and again.

Historically we've been able to recruit Texas well. Bert's mouth pissed off some Texas high school coaches, so lets hope that bridge can be un-burned.
