My next door neighbor (Bama Fan) has been texting me non-stop and giving me hell about Bama beating State again......
He did say he was totally blown away how the game day experience at Starkville has changed, since the last time he was there.
From the tailgating, pregame before kickoff, saluting the armed forces and how loud the crowd was. He said Davis Wade and Starkville was a fun experience.
He told me his son said “This place is lit”. I guess that’s a good thing.
Besides the Cowbells.. I know that answer.
Did other Bama fans enjoy the gameday?

I went a few years back and it was a lot of fun. Didn't care for the piss troughs though

Congrats for people being surprised they can have fun in Starkville?

That's good. Do the bathrooms still flood when it rains?

Starkville: Come for the moral victories, stay because you're pleasantly surprised it's not a complete shite hole.

3rd best tailgating scene in the SEC.

MSU has become a tough out in starkvegas under Mullen, I think everyone recognizes that.

I refuse to go to MSU games because of the Cow Bells. They're distracting and hurt my years - the SEC shouldn't have altered the rule to allow them.

2-26 against ranked teams.
But if they're favored he'll get that W.

Ole Miss: come for no traffic, no loud noises; so forget about paying babysitters, stay for the cold chicken fingers....we don't want to get those paper hands dirty now do we?

It's sucks y'all lost the game, but at least Bama won't make sure the SEC bans the cowbells now.

You sound exactly like a auburn fan looking for anyone to tell you that you are pretty. The truth is you are the butt ugly chick that pays for dinner...other than that, it is a great experience

Honestly Miss State tailgating beat the piss out of Oxford. But I was in Oxford during the Nutt era.
It may be better now. Or at least was between Nutt and the ongoing future

I agree. Oxford was more or less pretentious a-holes all trying to one-up each other. It was fun but Starkville has one of the best tailgating scenes in the SEC. I’m not sure if I’m supposed to be surprised or not but it was better than Oxford.

Yes, but they give you shovels so you can dig the trough deeper.
