Just as an aside, I happened to be traveling the last few days and ran into numerous football fans who asked about the game once they saw my LSU hat.

I told them constantly we aren’t going to win. I just hope we compete and show some fight.

NOW, we did just that. I don’t consider it a moral victory even if it is assumed that way.

LSU went hard, missed some key plays, and got beat. Congrats to Bama. 7 in a row is a bitch.

I will say we did finally run on Bama for the first time in years. We also had open passes either missed or not seen by Etling. Just how the game goes.

I for one thought it was a good game regardless of the outcome. I’m happy how LSU players and coaches have turned around the season.

I only want our team to fight and not ever quit. Moral victory is a stupid saying IMO. Hard fought loss is what is real.

Congrats to Bama and aggy

Don't leave Arkansas and Ole Miss out. Last night saved their seasons.

It was a good game overall. Felt it was much more competitive than the last few. It was the first time in a long time that it seemed LSU actually had a game plan on offense and ran a real scheme. Alabama’s lack of depth at the LB position showed as the game went on and more players went down. Hope we can get some guys healthy and some young guys step up.

At the game, it was comical how open our receivers were and how Etling either missed on the throw or didn't see them at all.

A good passing team would have had a blast last night. Unfortunately, LSU isn't that.

Was pretty amazing. That play to Chark when Mitz got hurt....... not only did he have two steps on him, Guice was wide the frick open on the swing pass. Not a Bama player within 30 yards

White and Battle have Hurts sacked for a 3rd and 20 and whiff

14 pt swing right there. Oh well.

Ignore the trolls. LSU was with Bama that game.

But they won like they usually do.

Gig em!!

Good luck, I would imagine any team that runs for 50 yards next year against LSU would be a success.

the only thing that is wide is your sisters legs when you enter her bedroom.

This is the annoying thing. I know scores of LSU trolls posted idiotic threads the last 2 weeks, but Gumps making fun of any fan proud of their team for playing physical without quit is just silly.

LSU players were well prepared and coached and played their butts off. It was a slobber knocker as always. Since LSU got healthy and Eaux learned his lesson (Troy game) to not meddle with Canada's offense, LSU is a very much improved team -- should win out solidly. Good luck to y'all the rest of the way.

I'm proud of them Tigers! Glad they showed some fight and honestly, I think the game showed that Bama isn't as great as their fans think they are. Last night was only the second time that Bama has scored that few of points and according to Bama fans... LSU would lose by 24 or more.

The LSU offense isn't all that, the line in young, the QB is tough but wouldn't start for many other SEC teams but he's limited.

This game was marked as a LOSS by the college football world as soon as O was named the HC. But, looking at a great chance to get a 10 win season right now... I'm stoked about it.

Good game Bama.
