Look no further than:
Also, glad to hear the heat is being turned up on his seat,

One of my main concerns is the culture of acceptance of losing that has permeated through our football program over the last five seasons, almost as if the goal was to get fan expectations lowered to the point where we're celebrating 7-5. I used to think it was a manifestation of Bert, but I'm not so sure anymore.

If that was the goal, it has worked. People are talking about a bowl game saving Bert's job. As if a 6 win bowl game means shite. Yeah - extra practice, but I'm not sure that's a good thing considering who is coaching them.
I said last year that the D line was the worst I've ever seen for an Arkansas team. That was true at the time, but somehow this year's is even worse. Dominated by a 1-7 newly FBS O-line. Down year/transition to a new scheme. There are a lot of reasons you could use to shift the blame, but that is inexcusable.
I'm done with the football program until Bert is gone. They can win out or lose out, makes no difference to me. It's basketball season, which means we can watch a team with a competent coach and a commitment to winning.

That offensive line was also composed of four freshmen and one sophomore.
How many sacks did Arkansas muster yesterday? I was too drunk to take note.

This is what gets me.
Our fan base has become largely docile and complacent, and we’ve been programmed to apologize for glaring issues and mediocrity. A decade ago, 7-5 and the absurd waste of talent was unacceptable, now it’s accepted as the new norm.
The depths to which our football program program has sunk is beyond comprehension, and the acceptance of it is shameful.

Did you guys know that in high school TJ Hammonds scored a touchdown 1 out of every 4 times he touched the ball?
Yesterday he averaged like 25 yards per carry.

And Arnold keeps saying they need to find a way to use him,

But he didn't make Eagle Scout, doesn't tip his waitresses 25%, had a sub-4.0 GPA, and doesn't fully know our stupid arse offensive playbook, so naturally we need to either limit his PT or sit his arse completely on the bench.
The stupidity of these coaches is profound. It took them until the last quarter of the season to get the most electric playmaker since Joe Adams on the field with any semblance of regularity.

Why do you have a hard on for Long, exactly?
Not some bullshite justification you form placing on field failures of others at his feet, there must be another reason.
I get why you hate Mike, being City Wide Wes and only being able to sway an assistant at Nebraska to take a flyer on a short guard from LR who brought him with him to the SEC when he took another assistant job. Mike won't give you the time of day for your "expertise" of the LR basketball scene.

Exactly. These guys are frickin dumb. How to use him? You just tell Dan Enos point blank that he is to give TJ the ball 15+ times per game. Doesn't matter how you do it, just do it. How about you have the QB take the ball and literally hand it to him? Seems to work for every other football team in the world.

Funny thing is that I think Chase Hayden is just as good.
I understand you're obligated to get Whaley some touches. He was the #1 RB in his class. But when you have two home run hitters on your team playing second fiddle to a grad transfer from South Carolina it isn't hard to figure why these coaches just aren't any good.
They don't play their best players. It's like small town politics in sports. Gotta play the mayor's son.
Lol

They don't play their best players because they don't know who their best players are. Anyone defending fatass at this point, even if trolling, is as big of a sack of shite as he is.

It blows my mind how bad Arnold is at utilizing the playmakers
Posted on 11/5/17 at 12:07 pm to Pigfeet
Not getting Hammonds at least 10 touches a game is asinine. He is by far the best playmaker on the team.

Look at how long it took him to discover our kick returner

Yeah good point. Him playing Hedlund over Limpert as well is baffling.

Or even our kicker.
The place kicker fiasco is a perfect example of why this guy is a collosal frick up. He has insisted on playing Hedlund even though it's apparent he was a bust (because he has no special teams coach. Lol) because he was highly rated in high school.
He can't stand the thought of having a bust in talent evals so he insists on playing certain players ahead of others.
Devwah Whaley over Chase Hayden or TJ Hammonds is another example.
But then there are the offensive line problems. And those are entirely different. He is allowing position coaches and offensive coordinators to make the calls there and these jackasses either aren't playing a guy because they got their feelings hurt by them, or because we insist on running an offensive scheme we don't have the talent to run.
The entire thing is a damn cluster frick. Horrible coaching every where you look. Everywhere.
