The reported by out I'm hearing from my friend who is very close to the department says of the four million, Colorado State got 3 million and UF only gave Mac a million(money still owed on his buyout and for the game not being played or something to that extent).

You notice there was just acceptance by Mac? He absolutely knew he was screwed. Sexton is a really powerful agent. Accepting this deal means UF probably had strong causation and Mac didn't want what had happened out in the public.

Add in seems Strickland gave very quick and almost coach speak type remarks when asked about Mac as a person. Seemed to shift around when he said he is a good guy.

Freak it would be nice to be a fly in that room. Mac left with no fuss, didn't even say bye to his players in person. Wow. Never seen anything like this.

I don’t believe and didn’t read any of the TLDR crap you just posted but, Yellowtooth has been a PR disaster and a blight on the program for a while. It’s not entirely shocking that a competent lawyer could prove cause.

Clause in all UF contracts moving forward.

I expect the NCAA will be investigating Florida for violations. This looks like a cover up job on both parties. Something happened

I wonder if it has something to do with Callaway and those other knuckleheads and the fraud stuff.

He got what he deserved. And it should have been worse.

This is a lot bigger than fake death threats.

Allegedly. There is no proof of that. At least not publicly. He is gone for a reason and I imagine UF’s lawyers know why.

Agreed. A lot bigger. Wonder when we find out all the information.

We may never know.

To my knowledge, none of the players or staff have said a word to either call BS or back up Mac's version.

It's totally plausible some threats were received. I'm guessing both sides just want to move on. Whether they were real or not matters little for Florida at this point. It would matter for Mac's future employability if players and staff start throwing shade on his version.

On the radio today Andy Staples said it all started after the bowl game when McElwain said something like, "Let's see if the AD is committed now." This after UF's AD had jumped through a lot of hoops to improve facilities, and this didn't sit well with a new AD. I've looked and can't find this, but it's not like Andy Staples to make shite up.

That and the fake death threats I think did him in as much as the bad record.

We never will. Too much risk from both parties and whatever the cause is, Sexton and Mac agreed to the terms of the split for a reason.

ETA:

Don’t be surprised if Sexton no longer represents Mac to save face.
