Consider the source, your typical inbred cajun.

Yeah, I wasn't going to predict some wild arse top 3 finish or anything. I could see top half for sure.

True, UK always seems sketchy, and look at bama and auburn.

Auburn will be a top 4 SEC team if the FBI doesn’t rape...

This year is so difficult to predict going into the season.
I don't think this will be a dominant UK team (but that's been said before and turned out to be wrong). Mizzou has the young talent, but Martin knows how to underachieve with good, young talent. A&M should be good. But they should have been good last year, and they weren't.
I think for the first time in a while many games will be a coin toss. LSU is picked last (and I understand why), but I think they will be a tough match up every time. Auburn should be good. But Pearl is behind schedule on making them a solid program. Will they ever become one under him? USC should take the most significant step back. Have Ole Miss and UGA just made a living being avg-to-good in a bad conf. over the years? Will that catch up to them this season?
My predicted order of finish (with a lot of ties and no one running away with the leage):
1. UK
2. Alabama
3. Florida
4. A&M
5. Vandy
6. Auburn
7. Mizzou
8. Ole Miss
9. Miss. St.
10. Arkansas
11. Tennessee
12. LSU
13. Georgia
14. South Carolina

Georgia has the best frontcourt in the conference. If anything they're being underrated by most

Ban bet LSU doesn't finish last.
6 months.
6 months.

Good lord Missouri you hired Cuonzo Martin not Bobby Knight. What a bunch of delusional dumbasses. You'll be lucky to be on the bubble this year.

Just my opinion, but I think the level of coaching in the league has caught up with Fox. The Rick Ray's, Johnny Jones', Kim Anderson's are gone. Just about every team has a coach with significant "skins on the wall". Calipari, Barnes, Howland, F. Martin have all gone to Final Fours. Johnson has lead a team to the NBA Finals. Pearl had UT rocking before his BBQ. Even the teams that don't have established vets have promising young guys (White, Drew, Wade)
Kennedy and Fox might prove to be the last relics of one of the worst periods of SEC basketball

Fox still has Yante Maten, though.

quote:Meh I think both will be fine. Both have good enough rosters to compete this year and they're both competent coaches. Kennedy has what is his best roster at Ole Miss. They may not have sexy ceilings but neither team is going to be anywhere near bad.

Maten and Ogbeide is the best 4/5 combo in the league
