I thought only Tennessee did that.

Someone needs to find Saban's favorite hits playlist and have it booming in BDS for an entire game.

They need to play Forgot About Dre with the lyrics instead of just instrumental.

That's one of my good friends you jackass. Ever occur to you it's not always his decision to play those songs on specific downs?

Better to die with honor than live in shame.

They've been playing Turn Down For What for a while. I agree that it's garbage. They play a lot of God awful rap and pop. Some of it's not so bad, but I'd like more variety.
And I'm a 23 year old grad student, so I'm part of the target audience for this stuff.

And they clearly have no idea what "name that tune" means.

If it’s not his decision then he’s not the one in charge of the music, so settle down.

Yeah, but he isn't a robot. I hope he is speaking up about it.
I'm the target audience (I think anybody below 40 should be?), but that crap is outdated. Needs a refresher

One thing I have never understood is why they don't play Blondie, "The Tide is High". That seems like it should be a staple in some of the small excerpts they play from time to time.
Another one that is very obscure would be a bluegrass song by a group called III'rd Time Out. They have a song called "Dixie Train" that has a line about getting those big wheels rolling and don't stop until you get to Tuscaloosa.
I think both would be good songs to add, simply because they are fitting to our location.

That song blows.

Uh, those songs aren't going to get our players or the student section hype.
I think some of you don't understand why the younger crowd and a certain style is being targeted.

It's basically the same music as every other CFB venue. I'm a current student, and I'd prefer much less piped in music. The majority of people my age disagree. It is what it is. The guy in charge seems to have a good grasp on what resonates with the target age group.

That stupid donging needs to go, no matter whose idea it is to play it.

Next week, I think we should play:
Logic - 1-800-273-8255
For the sake, of Butch. It's "newer & hip" and it's the national suicide prevention #.

I would say that most of the crowd are old 40 something yr olds like myself. I like the band more than the piped in music but I won't bitch about it because I go to Bryant Denny to enjoy the game and support our team.
