It is but we don't want Gruden. The Vols are perfect for him.

He'll do a great job as QB coach on Dabo's staff.

Why is everyone so certain he’d be a great college coach? I’m not saying he wouldn’t be, I’m just not sold on it being a guarantee.

Football fans discussing Gruden as a college coach - Its like women trying to talk about pass routes.

He is a likable guy with a somewhat proven background in the NFL and at improving talent. HE gets hyped as an evaluator, simply because of the espn shows, but I think it is still suspect. People think he is going to whip his dick out and all the recruits are going to come running to him

This! I can't figure out why the Vols are so enamored. He has a name but even if he wanted to work that hard, he'd have to start from scratch recruiting.
He's probably too smart for the average college kid.
I just don't see it.

Bama wouldn't touch a HC who was 95-81 (.540) in the NFL.

ESPN portrays him as the most brilliant football mind in the world and idiots believe them.

Saban .469
Stallings .405
You are right - above .500 in the NFL isn't what Bama is looking for.

Saban was HC in the NFL for 1 year, Stallings for 3. Hardly program building tenures.

Gruden wasn't built in a cyberdyne factory like Nick S, so no bama won't hire him. Must be a Model 101, T-1000 or better. No humans allowed.
