Why do Tennessee fans think they deserve more than 8/9 win seasons?

They have very little instate talent to speak of so a coach must survive on out of state recruiting.
Fulmer did so by going south into Georgia, Florida and the Carolinas.
It really shouldn't be a surprise that with the rise of UGA, Clemson, and SCAR while South Florida, UCF, FAU, and FIU becoming realistic alternatives for Florida recruits the talent pool has dried up for Tennessee.
This is reminding me of Solich being fired from Nebraska for their "refusing to accept mediocrity", Solich have proven at Ohio he wasn't the problem...

Avid Pineapple Express fan DaleDenton stumbled out of the gate with this heater

Avid Pineapple Express fan DaleDenton still hasn't learned to not immediately share every retarded thought that pops into his head.

Not to mention Neyland Stadium is a dump. It is basically Legion Fueld on steroids.

Interesting comparison to Nebraska. They had some big
advantages back in the 70's,80's and 90's.A walk on
program that produced several AA's which always seemed
kinda strange that a school could get that many walk ons and many were from out of state. They also had "sports science" program that East Germany would be proud of

All those advantages are gone now and you see the product on the field. They're stuck as a middle of the road Big 10 team.
UT should be better. The talent base in state is getting
better and they're centrally located within other recruiting hotbeds. They obviously have the $$ and fan base to get back to being a good program...maybe not like the Fulmer years but certainly better than this years product

Stopped reading after this. Proves the OP is an obvious SEC newb, and has no clue what what he's talking about. Yet feels the need to act like he does by creating a new thread.

Are you making the argument that Tennessee has a lot of instate talent?

I'm a UGA expert. Not Tennessee. But it doesn't take long to do research.
I'm just curious as to what his position is. He's got my ears perked up.

Tennessee's instate talent has ballooned in the past few years due to the population boom in the midstate.
This argument that Tennessee is some wasteland without talent or it's all in Memphis sounds like message board fodder from 2003.

Tennessee may have more people and prospects but who wants to live in Knoxville?? No redeeming qualities about Knoxville whatsoever.

Tennessee and Bama built this conference. The Vols deserve better

Define "a lot"? OP said "very little", which is asinine.
20+ 4*/5*s in the 2019 Tennessee HS class so far, and that number has grown every year for about the last 6 years or so, and will continue to grow.
Never gonna be Georgia or Florida, but we're not West Virginia either.

So you are saying that the instate talent right now is better than before?
What does that mean? How bad was it before? You know. "Better" is a relative term.
You used a nice flare word, "boom". Is the talent booming now too? Or just the population?

I'm starting to dislike your tone, ma'am.
