They say enjoy a win for 24 hours before moving on...think I’ll go with 12.

Call me a sour puss, but I saw this same season last year. Lost a tight one to Clemson with very questionable coaching decisions and a bad passing game. Got into a rhythm starting with Miss St and looked formidable for the mid part of the season. Lost to Georgia and Alabama.

I think we win out until Georgia but Amen Corner is the real test for Gus. He has to be able to beat good teams and definitely needs to be able to beat our main rivals.

Same boat man, until I see a win against UGA or Alabama this season is still up for grabs.

Of course everyone wants that but don't overlooks some of the teams on our schedule. Texas AM can be dangerous as can LSU and Arkansas. We are not 8-1 yet. A longs ways from it

But if you are comparing this team to last year, you are blind. They have not even hit their stride yet. If we can get the running game going, we can play with anyone

UGA is very good this year. And I hate to say it but Alabama is so much better than anyone else in college football, its not even funny

The losing to doormat georgia over and over is what got me off the Gus bus. Hard to get back on until he turns that corner. Being 2-9 against a lackluster rival is ridiculous and Gus just never seemed to care.

This feels a little different than last year... the running game, while solid, isn't clicking like it did last year.... yet we're still dominating teams we should dominate.

It's an overall good sign that we've scored points, yet still have a bunch of room for improvement. We need to get the backs healthy... the new OL lineup is playing well.

I'll be holding my breath going into Death Valley. Unfortunately, I can see us losing that one.

Sure would be nice to have a coach who could use August to get his offense ready for September instead of using September to get his offense ready for October.

If you're not back on the bus at 4-1 being ranked #13, with the only loss by 8 at Clemson, keep your arse off.

I don't see what the point of being a fan with this mindset.

Yeah I mostly agree. I like that he's improving, though. I think that's secretly been one of the real issues is that it's hard to definitively state what Gus is as a head coach. We know that, for the most part, he handles inferior opponents like he should and that's good. But if he wants to take that leap from good to great I need to see him take down teams like Clemson/Alabama/Oklahoma. I'm skeptical that he can but I would love to be proved wrong.

I would be living on the bus if we had intermediate passing game with slants, cross, drags, hooks/curls in it and threw to Canella 2-3 times a game. Stidham would thrive in it and we'd win a damn natty. It's the single piece I need to see to believe we'll be competitive with uga and bama but only God knows why we don't, I really can't figure it out. 0% some games.

I'm happy with the team and think Gus has to know now we need to play some other RBs more with the two starters at 50-80%. We'll crush who we're supposed to but IMO we won't be higher than tier 2 team status unless we try to implement some medium routes OR we use a DT QB with 2013 offense and the OL balls out.
