Sorry Auburn. ADU doesn’t have any more AD’s in the corral for you. Wil Greg Byrne at Bama and Strickland at Florida and Cohen at State all that leaves you is Larry Templeton.

It's fascinating that Auburn fans would be happy to give the job to a guy who, although he had a decent career as a coach, has never had an administrative job in his life. There are reasons why top programs these days generally don't hire career coaches as ADs. But yeah, Auburn, go ahead and give it to him without doing a national search.

First time I ever visited auburn, about 4 years ago, there was a sign in someone's front yard that read "fire jay jacobs."

I want a lengthy search. Besides, we don’t really have to have one until the end of football season when Gus Malzahn is likely fired, barring a huge turnaround.

It will NOT be Tubs. The new Prez wants someone with experience and who can streamline processes.

It's more fascinating to me how little sense of sarcasm and humor that Alabama fans have

Hey guys...can I get you in a Joe Alleva? I’ll throw in a free Ed Orgeron!

I feel like I missed something. Where's this desire to hire Tommy Tuberville as an AD? He left AU due to being complacent and hasn't exactly set the world on fire anywhere since.
