I was leaning more toward the boat option because I thought it would be really cool but as deeprig did not exactly come out and volunteer the use of his flatbottom/jon boat it sounds like I'm on my own. I'm not sure we could actually get up into Tanyard Creek/Branch from the river and I understand security is pretty tight in that tunnel going under the stadium. I don't know if there are still any goats around there eating invasive plants--at some point some were supposed to have been turned loose on the creek to forage. LINK

If I opt for the bicycle mode of travel should I wear a helmet or do I really need one?

Privet infestation in Georgia.

UGA has allowed goats to help control it in state owned areas.

The goats don't last long before coyotes or Mexicans get them.

This is a personal preference but I would recommend one. Also make sure to bing your chain so you can lock the bike up at the stadium when you get there.
