Odom should have also fired himself because he's calling the plays.

Let's just get this behind us and fire the whole coaching staff after this season and start over. Better sooner than later. One word sticks in my mind concerning this whole situation, incompetence.

I am not saying this is 100% accurate, but the same booster who explained the Pat Ivey dismissal just texted me.
Spoiler Alert - This may be booster bullshite. Everyone wants to appear to be in the know. But here it is...
BO did not want to torpedo Cross' career by firing him outright especially after it was BO's idea to change the defense. While Cross may have appreciated that, it seems that little brother BO was getting on his nerves and he didnt feel BO was evaluating little brother as harshly as himself. So that caused a blowout after the game.

Matter said on his Facebook Chat that Cross and BO didn't agree on defensive philosophy and that Cross didn't get along with some of the players. Heard this before with Shipp.
