remember all the turmoil surrounding the hiring of our "offensive guru" from the state of arkanass, and your lardass sasquatch from wisconsin?....remember all of the bickering and jousting about who got the best coach?....remember all of the jokes?

Arkansas has been an SEC member since 1992, correct? Yet in all of that time they have not even sniffed a conference title. With that being said what makes any Arkansas fan believe they can ever win one regardless who coaches the team?
The last GREAT team Arkansas had was their (11-1) 1977 team that beat Oklahoma in the 78 Orange Bowl behind the running of Roland Sales, and mush mouth Holtz. Which was crazy as Holtz had suspended a number of starters prior to the game.
But that is it, the last great Arkansas team. Moving to the SEC severed their Texas recruiting pipeline of players. And forced the school to build an entirely new recruiting base in the deep south. And why to this day they always look just good enough to have a winning record, but a player or two from competing for a championship.
Arkansas is a perennial 8-4 maybe 9-3 team, no more, possibly a few less. So enjoy your Saturdays with family and friends, and leave championship football to someone else.
