This rivalry was manufactured by Mike Slive to try and make sense out adding Mizzou, specifically adding them to the East.

One school has empty dorms because of the quickest drop in enrollment in modern academic history. One school has to rent dorm rooms to fans for weekend football trips because they're otherwise closed. One school has 20,000 empty seats playing Arkansas and an in-state FCS school. The other school averaged over 75,000 fans per game during a 21-game losing streak. Mizzou is a joke.
