If FSU moved the football and scored more, and say maybe pulled off a 21-17 win and Hurts performed exactly the same as he just did, there would start to be a lot more talk of replacing Hurts.

Maybe, but Hurts would have to look lost for multiple weeks and lose games with turnovers and missed throws for people to loudly call for another true freshman QB. He wasn't great Saturday but he was neither of those things. We were stuck in the mud on offense, both running and pass blocking, and he was kind of there stuck with it (against a pretty good defense in week 1).

Maybe he will and they do. Maybe he improves. Maybe he's just ok all year. We'll see.

If you go back to his last games last year, it's been several in a row he's looked rather poor. He didn't throw any interceptions against UF, Washington or Clemson, either. But again, you only lost 1 of those games, because your defense won 2/3 of those games.

Bama always looks human and error prone at the start of the season, but come late October to early November they get their stuff together and become virtually unstoppable.

If LSU could play them in the first 4 weeks of the season, we wouldn't be L6U
