Williams only needs to average ~73 yards a game to reach 1000 yards (not counting on a bowl here)

Starkel wasn't exactly lighting up the world when he got hurt so maybe we didn't lose much.

I think Jim Turner is the best position coach in the SEC.

We're not nearly as terrible at rushing the passer and I expected.

We still traveled well even with the airport closures in Houston.

A lot of people didn't see us blow it because they turned it off because we were blowing them out.

Starkel did what we needed him to do. Made the reads and hit the passes needed to penalize them for loading up on the run. He wasn't lighting it up but we didn't ask him to or need him to

Very pleased with the pash rush until our D was left out to dry starting in the middle of the 3rd. Very aggressive but it took it's toll when they lived on the field in the second half.

I am just sick and tired of our players having to make up for poor coaching, piss poor play selection in the red zone, having to overcome poor clock management and questionable to poor personnel decisions, etc... etc... We gave this game away in so many ways

I guess I see the biggest positive is us getting to replace Sumlin without it causing a rift in the Fanbase . Unless he finishes the season with nine win and beat Arkansas South Carolina LSU and Florida the Fanbase will be united in the decision to let him go. This is much better than 8-4 finish with at least half of the Fanbase wanting him to have one more year and the other half wanting to fire him

Williams will get shut down against a better defense like he did last year and then our passing game will be exposed.

UCLA's OL is not that great.

Jim Turner is a great position coach, but best in the SEC is a huge leap.

Those are positives. You're just trying to bring me down.

Sumlin is basically done. Only positive from that nuclear catastrophe IMO

Yes, I am

There are no positives. When you're top 5 positives list includes "we traveled well despite a hurricane," I think it's time to shut it down.

The positive is that the 1 pt loss came in such damnihg fashion were over the fire sumlin hump. A 44-45 loss in any other circumstance would have kept us in limbo.

I am 100% on the fire Sumlin train but he hasn't been a nuclear catastrophe. He's actually been solid / mediocre / slightly above average. Over 5-6 years that cut ain't cutting it.

Right. Just like wverything sumlin, it's not as much the what but the how. He's been given more, and we've gotten marginal and furthermore a diminishing ROI.

I agree, I am saying Sunday night was. I think he's cut out for a smaller job but not the expectations we have

Sumlin hasn't been a nuclear catastrophe. He's been a slow and fetid decay due to nuclear fallout.

Sumlin will lose his job unless he wins the SEC West

Sumlin lost his job on September 3rd. He has 80 days to earn it back.

Spoiler alert: He's not capable.

I was in an existential funk in the first half, because we actually appeared to have a defense. Could this actually be true? But then the fourth quarter happened, and it was like old times: shite blasting out of every pore of our body with no possible way to stop it. shite, of every possible kind, everywhere. Most pitiful excuse for defense I have ever seen. I didn't think it could get worse than lsu last year. But it did. Gahtdammit all to hell.

And this is SafetySam's "positive".
