We will finish 2-4 in the SEC, and go 10-2 as just about everyone predicted.

Same thing I thought last week.

And how would we lose 4 games in conference but finish 10-2?

Hard to reevaluate after a game against FAMU. Offensive line is my biggest worry, but I've heard people suggest Bielema didn't start a few of his actual starters for that game. I hope that's true because they were struggling with pass protection early.

No big plays to our receivers, but Allen threw to 9 different guys on 14 completions. People are ragging on Allen unnecessarily. I think they were deliberately throwing to as many different dudes as possible to figure out who their best four guys are. In other words, they were putting shite on tape for self evaluation more than trying to score a lot of points.

Defense looked good. Sucks we lost our best defensive back. Sucks bigly. Fortunately we seem to have good depth there.

Still firm on 10-2 until I see a reason to start worrying. Which, admittedly, could come this weekend. Big test for new defensive scheme and several freshmen on the field.

ETA: Oh, and the running game is going to be very good this year. Pretty sure the South Carolina transfer David Williams had his biggest game of his career in week one for us if you count his receiving yards. Devwah Whaley did well, but Chase Hayden is a superstar in the making. He's gonna make everyone he faces look silly this year, at least once. He is electric.

Need to find an answer at QB like yesterday. Our offense looks awful. 6-6 prediction.

Our OL concerns me, we got whipped in the middle all night.

If we get that fixed, look out.

How can this many 4 and 5 star OL all but one returning starter look that bad? We need a new OL coach. Pendry took lesser rated guys and turned them into animals. We mauled everyone up front.

Everyone kept talking about the FSU offense leading into ya'lls game, but I went into it thinking it was gonna be their defense that gave you guys the most trouble. They are a very, very good defensive team.

Props to Bama for scoring so many points. Would wager that is the most they give up this year save maybe Clemson and Louisville.

Historically, LSU doesn't benefit from the trip to Tennessee. It comes in a trap week for us also.

Happy with our QB, RBs, TEs and WRs. OL needs to do a better job at guard.

Happily surprised with our defense. The DL played so damned good, I really couldn't get a read on our LBs and the secondary was in no way tested like this will be this week. But... it was nice to see the entire defense running at top speed, flying towards the ball and tackling much better than last season.

I was extremely happy to see us be able to give so many players a good amount of playing time especially our true freshman QB. It gave him time to get over the jitters and take the 2nd team to a score.

La Tech will be a better measuring stick to see how we might match up in the following games after that against LSU, Georgia, Auburn, BYU, Kentucky and Texas A&M.

We could lose them all but I feel much better about our chances after we totally smashed a good FCS team like you should if you are a good SEC West team.

Everyone else...

Bama's defense is incredible. You cannot run around them and they pressure the QB too much for anything other than quick passes. Their offense was not as good as I thought they would be, but it is early. IF they can find a running game to go with that QB, they will be in the playoffs. I could also see them losing 2-3 games if they don't solidify their offense and get some of the pressure off their talented QB.

Didn't really see much of the Auburn game but they had so many missing players it would be hard to get a good read on their offense. The defense was solid as always.

Ole Miss has a great WR crew and QB and will score some points. Probably enough to win a shoot out with one of the big boys, but their defense is very weak at this point.

LSU was their usual stout defensive self and anemic offense. They really need a RB to step up to challenge the top teams in the conference, but they do have the pieces. They always have quality linemen on both sides of the ball

Florida's offense is awful. Their defense is strong and physical but will wear down every game if they cannot find a better offensive game plan. Maybe they should take that size they have and try to play a ball control game plan.

Mizzo will make some noise against the SEC East teams. Hard to say much more than that because of their opponent but I would worry a lot about the defense giving up that much to a smaller school squad.

Georgia looked solid and somewhat vanilla against a good small school, which means they didn't have to open up their entire bag of tricks. I expect we will have to wait until they play a better opponent to see what they really have but I would put them at the front of the SEC East.

Vandy looked solid enough to pull an upset or two.

Kentucky had a lot of preseason hype and a decent opponent in Southern Miss. I don't think they look bad at all and could really improve in the coming weeks and join the SEC East race.

Watching aTm right now and they look pretty good so far.

Overall I thought almost all the SEC teams looked good this weekend. Florida and Auburn are still question marks with a number of players missing this past weekend.

As strong as everyone has looked early, it will probably come down to who can stay healthy having to play SEC opponents nearly every weekend.

Key to defeating Alabama is they must beat themselves, which they don't do too terribly often.

They looked very good.

Bama D more aggressive than I thought theyd be. Hope the two injured players dont cause any depth problems.

I like the offense. Great gameplan for FSU. Serious weapons at WR and solid group of RBs.

Toughest games: LSU, Auburn

Our defense is nasty and Special Teams was pleasantly boring (tons of touchbacks KOs and fair caught punts).

Our offense is TBD with Fromm under Center. Need to see what we look like with Riley Ridley out wide and Solomon Kindley starting at RG (both were out against App St but should be back for ND). If we can get a push in the interior of the OL, I really like where this team might end up.

Very Impressed with the defense. Offensively, Fitz still needs to improve. Line needs to open up the holes in the middle. Other than missing 2 fgs, the special teams did well in coverage and punting. I'm going to give the kicker a pass for being the first collegiate field goals. The freshman Hill and Thompson played well too.

Our offense was worse than I expected.

Our defense was about what I expected.

Our special teams were better than I expected.

No surprises, so no reevaluation necessary. Offense will score a lot of points if key players stay healthy, which is a major concern whenever Patterson does his Manziel impersonation. Even if Patterson is blessed with an injury-free season, the defense will give up more points than the offense can score. We couldn't buy even one blue chip linebacker?

Two conference wins max.

I meant we will finish ranked 2, 3 or 4 in the SEC not 2-4.
