The folks in this conference--from all states--are the greatest.
It's not even up for debate.
Thank you, SEC.

We do send a lot of Bulldogs to Huntsville, AL. and to the petroleum industry in Texas.
Thoughts and prayers, Texas.

being a realist, would the university send any financial support?

Sometimes to both places. I was in Houston with Schlumberger. Then I was in Huntsville for a while after I went high tech.

An Alumni Chapter will surely raise and send money. The Official University money would be sent as an amount from the entire State of MS., I imagine

Remember all those people who clogged up Engineering Row when you were in a hurry to cut through campus?
Yep, they end up in Houston making boatloads on money

We had a guy in the fraternity who was a petroleum engineering whiz. I had literally never heard of the guy until I read about him getting some prestigious award in an alumni magazine. He was 2 years older than me

I think it's phrased poorly.
Mississippi State is definitely not the 3rd largest fan base here.
Perhaps she meant SETX is the home to y'all's third largest sector of alumni?

I know Houston is MSU's 3rd largest out of state alumni base.

There are most assuredly a large group of MSU alumni in and around the Houston area.

I figured this was obvious...

Apparently not.
(I had to read it twice myself)

She was certainly a victim of character limits.
Lots of dawgs in Houston, though. Three from my fraternity pledge class alone.
One of them is from the MS coast, moved to Tuscaloosa for grad school, now lives in Houston. So he lived through Katrina, the 2011 tornadoes, and now Harvey.
