SEC East Champ

Would anyone be surprised if the SEC East Champ had 3 conference losses? Last time it happened was 2010, South Carolina. I just don't see the SEC East teams really separating themselves this year, plus against the West it could be a challenge to go through with less than 3 losses looking at all the schedules. Regardless, the West still wins the SEC Championship.

Georgia will have 2 conference loses. Florida will have 3. Georgia goes to the SECCG repping the East.
Florida will lose to Tenn., Georgia, and LSU
Georgia will lose to AU and Vandy.
Florida will lose to Tenn., Georgia, and LSU
Georgia will lose to AU and Vandy.

If AU makes the SECCG then there's a good chance we beat UGA twice this season.

No. There isn't a single team in the East that would finish higher than 4th in the west.
VOLS have Lyle.
Florida have no QB and very average talent on the roster.

I would not be surprised to see any of the 7 teams in this division wind up in Atlanta.

Well, I just heard some interesting stats on the radio about a couple of the East teams that were pretty interesting.
Apparently Missouri is dead last in all of college football in offensive efficiency. The analytics guy giving stats said, "they play a million miles per hour, but it's a sucky million miles per hour."
And Georgia has the absolute worst offensive and defensive coordinator combination in all of football.
Oh, he also said that Will Muschamp is the worst head coach in the game.
So three of the traditionally decent teams are poised to play like absolute shite this year, and there's a chance the SEC East champ is one of those three teams.

We were basically 1 play away in the Florida v Tenn game from it happening last year.
Just by looking at the schedule this scenario could play out for conference losses:
Georgia: @Tenn, Florida neutral site, @Auburn
Tennessee: @Alabama, LSU, and your pick of SEC East team
Florida: Tenn, @UK (their super bowl), LSU or A&M.
I see these teams all dropping 3 games in some fashion, and no one else in the East stepping up to take control.

The East is completely up for grabs imo. Vanderbilt probably has the least likely chance of taking it, but there's still an argument that could be made for them. No clue how it shakes out. Thank God the season is finally here so it can work itself out.

I agree. I do feel like Vandy is going to be "the fly in the ointment" team that ruins a lot of plans for a few teams.

We were last in total efficiency in the SEC. Offense we still beat out a few teams from the SEC. Not last in all of college football.
But yes, we didn't know how to differentiate when playing fast was needed compared to slowing down the pace.

The analytics guy I was listening to was from college football matrix. He said Missouri was dead last in the country. Somehow they still beat my team, so lol @Arkansas.
At any rate, the East is down quite a bit. Naturally if you take the three teams I mentioned off the top the next two up would be Florida and Tennessee. Florida isn't going to be very good this year, and Tennessee will never win a title with Butch. They just won't.
So it leaves Vandy and Kentucky, if you ask me. I'd pick Kentucky to win the East this year, honestly.

Obviously it could happen, but I wouldn't expect it. At some point, an East team is going to break out. The last couple years aren't the norm.

No it isn't an exaggeration. He said both you guys' coordinators rank in the bottom 20% range and that no other program has two coordinators who perform so poorly.
