What's an appropriate amount of time

A friend of mine and his wife recently separated. I've known him for years & I dated one of her sorority sisters in college. Last month she moved all her stuff out of his house and moved about a mile from where I live.
I was wondering what would be considered an appropriate amount of time before I went over to her house
and
asked her for the password to her Netflix account. Out of spite she changed it when she moved out. I had been bootlegging it for free for years.
I'm not cheap but there's only a handful of shows I like watching (Daredevil, Iron Fist) but it's good for catching up or reaching shows like Breaking Bad. However, their movie selection is poor.
I'd like to go over and ask pretty soon but I don't want to seem pretentious. Plus I really want to make sure she is adjusting to being single ??

Need to hit it to earn that Netflix account. If your friend lost that inthe separation then you don't need him.
